Lets hope that the world gets it’s ass in gear this year.. and Hope the Australian government gets off it’s ass, throws out this stuipid idea of Internet Censorship, gets it’s Broadband into gear and finally gives us a R18+ rating on games.

Then the State Governments get their ass’s into gear on Health.. Of course I could hoping in vain.

Top 100 Removed

by Rob on Dec.30, 2009, under Site Related News

After thinking about it, looking at it.. and realising that it appears no one actually bothers looking at the rest of this site.. In an Effort to make people realise that they are going to have to give some feed back, that I’m not keeping certain sections of this website going indefinably and of course to make you realise that hey other parts of this site exist.. and that I was removing the top 100 anyway and it’s the last day of 2009 in Australia the Top 100 is now.. Gone.

What is Staying…. What is going?

by Rob on Dec.29, 2009, under Site Related News

For the last 10 years certain features of this website have been ’staple’ the Top 100, the Banner Exchange and for the last 2 years the recruitment boards. So with 2010 you may be wondering what is staying and what is going.

Remember until I DO change or adjust these you can find them at the bottom of the page.. the ‘Friends’ Section, once I am happy with everything I’ll re-add a ‘PBEM Resources’ section.

for those of you worrying about the Banner Exchange, take a breath your safe. The Banner Exchange is staying, after all with 200+ users and over double that in Banners it would be a bit rude to just kill it, besides that honestly it still works as intended.

On the Top 100.. As of either Jan or Feb 2010, the Top 100 will be removed permanently from this website. Some of you may want to know why, Just go look at it. Top 100 Sites are fast becoming ‘havens’ for porn adverts etc etc etc I’m tired of trying to police it, I’m tired of trying to keep it clean and worse the code used for the back end is over 7 years old and Honestly I don’t want to have to find a new set.  It may come down before then, but It will depend on what is going on.

And now… The Recruitment Center… There are Two options here, One I can leave it up as is with a database wipe and a fresh start. The other is that I can remove it.. As a test to see who even bothers to ‘Read’ what I post up and who just takes the services for granted I’m gonna ask for comments, let ME know what YOU want, do you want the Recruitment boards to stay?

So that gives you the Low and Short of what is staying.. and what Is going in 2010.

Should I keep the Recruitment Stuff?
